BI specialists from Driebergen to support Brabant in the fields of SAP BusinessObjects and Microsoft Power BI - The Province of Noord-Brabant and Ensior have entered into a framework agreement for the provision of services in the field of both SAP BusinessObjects and Microsoft Power BI. Ensior is once again the supplier of choice and point of contact for the province when it comes to Business Intelligence.
The province uses reports and dashboards on a daily basis that provide insight into the processes and performance of the organisation. The insights provided by these hundreds of reports and dashboards help the province to make both small and big decisions. In recent years, the province has mainly relied on the Business Intelligence portfolio of software supplier SAP. Within the organization, however, an increasing number of departments and employees have also discovered the user-friendliness, convenience and speed of Microsoft Power BI. This is why in the summer of 2020, the province put out a tender for the technical management of the reporting environment, along with the development of and advice regarding both these BI tools. At the end of 2020 it was announced that Ensior had won the tender.
“We are pleased with the continuation of our collaboration with Ensior,” says Martine Couwenberg, procurement contractor at the province of Noord-Brabant. “The province has a great need for insight and information. Together with Ensior we hope to be able to meet this need and also develop it further.”
Experts in SAP and Microsoft BI
This task fits Ensior like a glove. “On the one hand, we have a long track record in SAP BusinessObjects”, says Sander Honig, Commercial Manager and co-owner of Ensior. “On the other hand, we focus explicitly on Microsoft’s BI portfolio. In addition to a SAP Silver Partnership, we are not a Microsoft Gold Partner in Analytics for nothing.” This combination, unique in the Netherlands, contributed to choosing Ensior. “We have been supporting the province in the field of SAP BusinessObjects for more than 11 years. As a result, we now know the organisation very well. The sum of our expertise and experience made Ensior the right partner for this task. We are extremely pleased with the trust that the province has once again placed in us.”
