We asked ourselves an important question: What value does IT add to the business? There appears to be a lot of misunderstanding and lack of transparancy between the business and IT. The business unsufficiently involves IT in their operations and planning which causes lack of insight with regard to the contribution of IT to the business. A lot of money is being spent on IT, but what does this add to the business results?
